About LAWR

LAWR is the main brand behind this site.

Rather than being one single fixed project, LAWR functions as an umbrella identity with different expressions depending on the work. That is why you’ll see related names like LAWRcana, DJ LAWR, and The New Tarot Reference here. They are connected, but they are not the same thing.

The only reason this site is LALAWR instead of simply LAWR is practical: the LAWR domain was far outside the available budget, so LALAWR became the home for the brand.

Follow LAWR on Instagram for updates across projects, releases, and new work.

About LAWRcana

LAWRcana is the tarot-facing side of the broader LAWR brand.

It is the branch most directly connected to tarot, readings, tarot-inspired merchandise, and related creative work. When the focus shifts toward tarot culture, symbolism, products, and audience, that work lives under LAWRcana.

About DJ LAWR

DJ LAWR is the music persona within the LAWR brand.

This is the branch tied to music, performance, and audio-based creative work. While it shares the larger LAWR identity, its focus is separate from tarot and publishing.

About Official Grimoire Academy Merch

This site also hosts officially licensed Grimoire Academy merch.

These products are separate from the core LAWR brand identity and separate from The New Tarot Reference series. They are licensed merchandise offered through LAWRstore for people looking specifically for Grimoire Academy products.

About The New Tarot Reference

The New Tarot Reference is a structured tarot book series hosted on this site.

It is not the same thing as LAWR or LAWRcana, though it exists within the broader LAWR ecosystem. The series focuses on Rider-Waite tarot through a system built around structure, consistency, and repeatable logic.

The series currently includes multiple volumes, including The Guide, The Book, Spread Logic, The Workbook, and The Elemental Interaction Matrix.
